Doctor Who ep. 12: The Stolen Earth

I...think I'm in shock.

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! David Tennant can't quit!!!! He's my Doctor!!! I started watching because of him!!! They lied to me!!! *deep breath* OK, rational now. This is either the best kept secret since Darth Vader being Luke's daddy, or there is one hell of a retcon coming next week. Seriously, I thought he was staying on next year at least?

That said, the execution of it was ok. (Still not pleased though.)

The whole teamup aspect of this episode was quite well done, but I'm just mainly glad that Rose was left out. It shows that the others are capable without Rose, and Harriet Jones was awesome. That there is a strong woman. She stuck to her convictions about the blowing up the Sycorax and still tried to help. And she faced her death bravely. Even if the Doctor didn't like her, I did.

The Shadow Proclamation were a bit shit, weren't they? I actually thought it was like the Declaration of Independence instead of space police, but whatever. They were sooo not impressive. Same goes for Davros. Caan was freaky though, props to Nicholas Briggs.

Anyway, if they kill off Gwen, Ianto, Sarah Jane AND  the Doctor next week, I'm marching on Cardiff, seriously. This isn't Blake's 7, Rusty! You can't kill them all off and escape the wank!
