Liveblog of Doctor Who: The Eleventh Hour!
So, not done this before, hope something interesting comes out of it. :) I'm coming at this as a Ten fan, not being that fond of Eleven so far. Just so you know I'm biased beforehand. XD
So, I quite like the new opening! It's pretty cool and the music is actually pretty good. Still hate the logo though.
I can't believe they set the TARDIS on fire! WTF?
Dammit, I will not be won over just because of the cute grappling hook. No I won't.
Demanding food from a small child. Classy. *eyeroll*
YES HANDHOLDING. \o/ I missed that. :D
ARGH GIANT EYEBALL ARGGH
Did that ball of light just go in his crotch? O_o Ahhh, psychic paper.
"Trust me" He's not coming back, is he?
And here's Amy! Pretty sure bobbies don't usually wear skirts that short.
Say it with me kids: EWWWWWWWWWW
FUCKING CALLED IT I knew she wasn't a cop
Ok, the giant moray eel of doom wwas laughable, but the teeth in real people's faces is quite cool.
Tasting things again? How like Ten are they going for?
OMG is she the kid? *bounces*I thought it was her mam!
"I'm the Doctor, I'm worse than everybody's aunt." Hee. Now I want to see him sipping tea on a sofa and deploring his granddaughter's lack of ladylikeness. (That's totally a word)
Is anyone else slightly sick of the world being in danger every half an hour? The creepiest eps are the ones where it could be happening right next door, and you'd never know, because it's subtle.
Oooh, the giant eye crystal things are pretty.
WHY does the sonic screwdriver have a setting to mess with little old ladies' scooters? Or is it just a general "anarchy" setting? I can see the Doctor having an anarchy setting.
Heehee, we've all been there Jeff. Except mine involved manips of David Tennant and John SImm.
"This is when you fly." Dammit, Eleven, I was doing so well until now. *wibbles*
Ooooh, creepy lady and kids are creepy.
How did the virus get into an analog clock? Pretty sure viruses don't work that way. Unless it only looks analog.
Silence will fall, eh? Interesting...
HAH RETINAL SCAN. EH, EH? *slapped*
"Oh you sexy thing" TARDIS/Doctor OTP you gaiz.
Time Lords are never on time, Amy, you'll learn soon enough.
OH MOFFAT YOU COCKTEASE SHOW ME THE TARDIS ALREADY
Oooooooooooooooooh, pretty TARDIS. Not sure about all the red, puts me in mind of the Paradox Machine a bit, but she sure does clean up nice. :D And I just geekgasmed at the steam/clockpunky nature of the console.
OK, not happy about the sonic screwdriver being green. *geekhat on* Previous continuity has shown that sonic stuff has a blue light, in nuWho at least. It's not bad otherwise though.
Woooo, forshadowy box thing with a line on it! That's not going to show up later, no siree.
WWII DALEKS FTMFW!!!!!!! And BILL FUCKING NIGHY!!! *dances* Still not happy about the gun, btw.
SO. Good opening episode, they could both have a bit more personality instead of a collection of quirks, but decent. I shall be tuning in next week. :D As if there were any chance that I wouldn't.

I kind of might love this Doctor nearly to death already, he's such a NERD.
