Neil Gaiman
Well, Gaiman got me into comics proper, it's as simple as that. I saw a picture in a book about world comics and was intrigued, so when I saw Dream Country in my local library I got it out and it blew my mind. It was the first comic I'd read that was for grown ups, that could only be in comics and it made me think. Then I read his books. I'll never be a great writer, but Neil Gaiman makes me want to try. He is EXCELLENT.

I assume this is because of Adrian. :) I quite like calamari, which is a shame because I'm a vegetarian. I remember trying it in Malta, in this little restaurant with my mam, my friend and her mam. It was nice. Calamari doesn't really mean much to me though.
asexuality
Well, this means a lot to me, being as I just came out! XD This makes me think of AVEN, which is the nicest, coolest place to go when you're confused, and even if you're not. Everyone is really nice and friendly. Asexuality for me basically means having to deal with people asking about boyfriends and sex, and me just saying I'm not involved at the minute. I can cope with being left out of conversations if it means I don't have to explain I'm not looking for a guy at the minute. *rolls eyes*

Oh, slash, where would I be without you? I love this stuff so much, it really makes me feel better when everything's shitty, and there are such good authors lying around! If not for slash, I would probably not gotten into fandom, which in turn meant I would probably not have hung out with my best friend, and I would never be talking to such wonderful people online as I am now.
excellence
OK, excellence is for me, either something that'll make you laugh, cry, drag you through the emotional wringer and still keep you reading/watching/whatever, or something so completely cracked and insane that everyone stares at you funny for a while before bursting into laughter at the sheer audacity of it all. I doubt I'll ever achieve the first kind, but I can try for the second. :)
