Doctor Who: Waters of Mars

Well, that was unexpected.
The episode as a whole wasn't that interesting. the characters were lifeless and generic and the plot was obvious, but that's not the point of it.
The Doctor setting himself up as a god was intriguing given his past characterisation. I liked that he didn't really change anything, but it would have been fun to play with if he'd fucked up the whole of time and had to deal with it.
I KNEW THE MASTER WAS COMING BACK! I've known for ages, but it's always nice to get validation from the trailer. :D The way things are going at the moment, I wonder if the Time Lords are all going to come back and execute the Doctor for daring to break the rules of Time? Using the Master to achieve that would be cool.
Incidentally, the more I find out about the next series, the less excited I am. Eleven looks boring, the logo is ugly and the companions seems generic so far. Ah well, no judging until I actually see it.
