*deep breath* SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
OMG!!! Joker was fantastic! Heath Ledger was amazing, he really got the Joker (which is quite disturbing actually), and Two Face worked well as well.
I went to see it on Friday, the day after my exams, to cheer me up. It was really good, especially the mobile phone bomb in stomach trick. Poor schizophrenic man! And, and, the lorry flipping up was wintastic!
I liked the Joker telling lies about how he got his scars, it seems like something the character would do. The nurse scene with Harvey as well, gold. Of course he doesn't have a plan, he's a fricken' nutjob!
I do have some issues with the movie though. First off, I want a proper Batmobile again, not the Battank. I know it's such a tiny thing, but the tank pisses me off. Secondly, where is Babs? I totally agree with poisonivory on this, it would make more sense to have Barbara in the movie than the son that no one's ever heard of. Even if they never use Batgirl, it would be a joke for the people that got it and wouldn't mess anything up for the people that didn't.
Also, my mother loves Batman. She has seen most of the animated series and all the movies. She has a Batman tattoo for Gods sake, and she was still surprised when Harvey Dent got the acid treatment. I'm not doing my job right.
