Today I saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince for free. A day early. In Imax. U GAIZ, THIS IS TTLY THE BEST JOB EVAR. I'm not gonna talk about specifics until the film is out for real, but can I just say that Tom Felton is actually a good actor? Most of them were really good this time around, actually, especially Alan Rickman. His timing is excellent.

The film is surprisingly funny as well; I burst out laughing several times. :) The emotional impact of the film isn't as big as in the book though. It just doesn't feel as real and raw as it did when I was reading it.

Can't say more without major spoilage, so I'll post again tomorrow, I guess! Have fun seeing it, everyone!

I-I-I am overcome with jealousy!
I have to wait until Friday to see it!
*is getting a job at the Odeon*

Are you working at the one in Manchester? I don't know if you're still there but ahhhh :)

Yeah I'm still there. I just got the job last week, and I'm completely chuffed that I got to see it early. (Not that we were supposed to...)

You should like it, it's fantastic, but I don't want to ruin it for anyone, so I can't say anything. :(

Haha, I might see you. But never know, because I don't know what you look like. I'm going on Friday, ahah.

Is it better than Order of the Phoenix?

You probably will! I start on Friday. I'll be in an ordinary shirt, because our uniforms haven't arrived yet, so you might see me? I dunno if I'll have a badge either, or what shift I'm doing yet, so I can't give you anything to recognise me by. I have glasses and red hair, if that helps.

I thought it was, but then I didn't really like Order of the Phoenix. It's by David Yates, who I think did GoF, and I really liked that one, so it might be your cup of tea if you liked that one too.

Ohh, let me know when you know your shifts! I'll look out for you!

I didn't like OotP, either. GoF was my favourite! Eeeh! I'll love it then!

Will do! It'll be nice to meet someone off the old flist! XD

GoF was really so much better than OotP. The ending bloody killed me, I really liked Cedric. :(

If I do see you, I'll be all shy and stupid, haha. How old are you, if you don't mind, I forget ahha.

I loved him tooo :(
I like how GoF was more... modern than the others, you know with the music playing in the common room and stuff, instead of what it was like in the first film, which was VERY English (e.g. HOLY CRICKET HARRY!) :)

I'm 19, and very small and unthreatening. Don't be shy! I love meeting more people! How old are you, if you don't mind me asking?

Yeah, I loved the music, and them acknowledging that people would want to dance to rock music and kiss and be teenagers. Half Blood is in the same mold, believe me. :)

I'm 14, and hopefully unthreatening, too, ahaha. Yes, I am.

I can't wait now! Which is your favourite HP film + boook? :D

My fave film is GoF, because I love Cedric and the Yule Ball and about five hundred other bits in it, especially the end. It made me cry, which is an achievement for the movies.

My fave book is PoA, because Sirius is love, and Draco gets mud thrown in his face. XD

How about you?

So I'm working in the Gallery tomorrow, so I probably won't see you after all? Sorry to have to pull out at the last minute, but I can't change my shift.

Ahhh, don't worry about it, maybe I will go undercover and get into the gallery, ahaha.

I haven't booked it, so I'm scared we won't get in! D:

Thank you! Don't worry, there's about 5 screens showing HP, so as long as you don't mind not watching Imax you should get in. If not, then get there early. :)

TOM FELTON.

I'm not even remotely interested in HP fandom, but I have such a thing for him. His twitter posts are kind of adorable.

He was on 8 out of 10 cats, and he was actually quite funny and nice in real (ish) life, and he was a really good actor in this movie. I am always surprised when the people in Harry Potter turn out to be able to act, I can't forget the first two movies.

Everytime I catch one of the older films on tv, I just want to ruffle their little mop-top haircuts and shout, "Who's the cutest ickle wizards ever? You are!"

I probably need professional help.

It's not just you, so probably not. XD

They were adorable, but you can't tell me they were fantastic actors. The cuteness just makes up for it!

Oh, lord no. I have to focus on the cuteness to stop myself from vomiting.

Lol, I can't even remember the last time I watched one of the first ones. At least they've gotten better as they got older, as have the directors.
