1. If you could telepathically communicate with one animal, which would you choose?
Probably dolphins, actually, them or birds. I love them both and dolphins are so intelligent that you could probably have a fairly interesting conversation with one.
2. What is/was your favorite school subject?
Hmmm, I feel like I should say French, but in all honesty it was probably Resistan Materials. We all just mucked about and played with chunks of metal, it was great. The teacher was really cool too.
3. What do you do when you just want to relax?
I read. I read books, I read on the Internet, I read magazines, basically whatever I can get my hands on. I knit too, it's very relaxing.
4. What is your ideal job where you get to use the languages and linguistics that you're studying?
Probably a translator for a publishers. I'd love to try and help stories make sense in another language, and I can only hope to be as good as
Ted Woolsey, the video game translator. To be honest though, I'd much rather have a shitty job and be able to travel the world instead. Maybe afterwards. :)
5. What's your favorite Goo Goo Dolls song and why?
Slide, because it's pretty. The singer's voice is all husky and lovely, and I like the imagery. Plus, the first time I ever heard it I was watching a Harry Potter AMV. It has good (if geeky) connotations.
