Right, before the rant, can I just say I was right about the regeneration? I knew David Tennant wouldn't leave.
Anyway, on to the main event.
BASTARD!!!!!!!! HOW DARE HE LEAVE DONNA LIKE THAT?!!?!?! Rose gets her own Doctor in her own universe, and he'll age and they'll be together for-fucking-ever, and Donna gets her memories removed? Thanks, Rusty, thanks a fucking bunch. Seriously, what is it with you and your depowering of women? A real friend respects your decisions, even if they disagree, they don't take it away from you and do what they think is best like you're a fucking child. You did it to Rose, but I'm damned if you're doing it to Donna.
She was so awesome and funny and cool and she was a Time Lord and she was brilliant, and then it went away because the Doctor couldn't handle her death. *sob*
Ok, I may be overreacting because losing my memories is one of the worst things I can imagine happening to me, but for someone else to meddle inside your head and take away such a huge part of your life and leave you tiny after all that... It's horrifiying.Your memories are what make you and define you. If I were in her situation, I think I would have preferred to die.
That's the main issue I have with this too. She asked him, nay begged him not to take her back, and he did it anyway. She's an adult, damnit, and she is capable of deciding how she wants to live or die. Sometimes I think he deserves to be alone, if this is what he does to his companians.
*breathes* OK, I'm done. At least RTD is gone now. Long live Moffat!!
