Doctor Who
1. The first character I first fell in love with: Ten in the first Children in Need episode. He was hopping and grinning and adorable. :D 
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Mickey was rather wimpy at first, but he grew on me, and the resulting levels in badass he took didn't hurt. 
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: ROSE!!! She got steadily more annoying all through Series Two, but I really started to hate her when she insisted on not leaving when The Doctor was trapped in The Satan Pit. Because life without a man is worse than being sucked into a black hole! *growl* 
4. The character I love that everyone else hates:  Alonso? I'm not really sure who hates who, but I like him, even if he messes up the holy grail of slashships.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Jake. I was really fond of him, but he's a one-story character, more or less, and there's just not enough to him to keep me interested. 
6. The character I would shag anytime: The Doctor, I guess. David Tennant is cute. 
7. The character I'd want to be like: The Doctor! Who wouldn't want to be that free, to go anywhere and meet people and have adventures without worrying about bills and deadlines and exams? 
8. The character I'd slap: Again, Rose. She just annoys me so much. 
9. A pairing that I love: Doctor/Master. It's so messed up, I love it.XD 
10. A pairing that I despise: Rose/Doctor. It's not the pairing itself, just that I never want to read about Rose. 
11. Favorite character: Jack. He's lovely.

15. My deep, dark fandom secret: I once read a really fucked up mpreg Doctor/Master fic that made me feel sick....I wish I could find it again, it was fantastic.

1. The first character I first fell in love with: "I". He's adorable! 
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: The poacher guy amuses me, I must admit. 
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't:  Danny watsit. He just annoys me.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: ...Oh, lord, I have no idea. I'm not actually in this fandom, you know. I just like the film. :) 
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Uncle Monty. He gets creepier everytime I watch it.

7. The character I'd want to be like:  Again, no one. They're all fucked up!

TGWTG 

1. The first character I first fell in love with: The Critic, just like everyone else. I didn't even know who the others were until about a year after I found the site. 
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Angry Joe is awesome and seems really sweet when he's not angry. 
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't:  Benzaie. Seriously, the half-naked striptease thing? Gah. My eyes, they burn.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Everybody gets love in this fandom! 
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Love them all. 
6. The character I would shag anytime:  Oh, honestly? No one. Mostly I just want to ruffle Spoony's hair a lot. *feels like a bad fangirl*
7. The character I'd want to be like: The Nostalgia Chick kicks arse and takes names and I want to marry her, she is so awesome. 
8. The character I'd slap: Mechakara. Nobody messes with Linkara, except Insano/Spoony/Marzgurl/insert character here bitch! 
9. A pairing that I love: Spoony/Critic, but I honestly don't know why. There's not even that much subtext! The part in AitD where he calls him honey makes me squee everytime. 
10. A pairing that I despise: None, they are all done so well, even the messed up ones. 
11. Favorite character: Spoony. I'm not really a video game fan, but he's so funny it makes up for it. 
12. My five favorite characters: Spoony, Linkara, Chick, Insano, Critic
13. My five least favorite characters: Yeah, not gonna happen. 
14. Which character I am most like: Son of Insano! I am cute but secretly diabolical. XD 
15. My deep, dark fandom secret: This is my first real dip into anything resembling RPF. I was so squicked when I first found this fandom...

I liked her at first, and then she went all weird and codependent, and then she just wouldn't leave. Although a lot of my issues with her are to do with the fact that she didn't get to make her own decisions, like when she picked helping the Doctor in Doomsday and got hauled off to the AU anyway. She got treated like a child.


Hurrm. I apologise for the rant. *sheepish* I don't want to fight! I liked her with Nine! She was awesome as the Bad Wolf!

I have an entire thesis in my head about Rose's dependency on the Doctor, mostly involving her abject terror at being without him, because in her mind that would make her "normal" again. And the Doctor does have that habit, of treating his companions like children. Or treating them as being very, very thick, anyway.

Fandom-related rants get a pass. *g* Funnily, I actually preferred her with Ten, probably because I was so slow to warm up to Nine.

He does treat them like idiots, doesn't he? The same thing happened with Donna in Journey's End. She begged him not to take her memories, and she's an adult woman who can make her own choice, dammit.

I didn't really like Nine either, but I really liked her as the Bad Wolf, it was cool.

WE DO NOT TALK ABOUT JOURNEY'S END. *cries forever* I think that wasn't so much him being all "Doctor knows best", but more an act of selfishness. He couldn't stand to watch her die like that, not if he had the means to stop it.
