keevacaereniChoose one or two or however many and a character/pairing and I'll try and write something for it. As always, you can ask for verses and see what I can come up with.
1) we would all be fools to pray for justice
2) great charity, bad tactics
3) a place beyond fear
4) prayer is a dangerous business
5) trying to build a tower out of custard
6) I will not fail death
7) all things out of season
8) lit like a burning city
9) now explain why you glow in the dark
10) expect to be valued accordingly
11) such a natural, normal lethality
12) choose good actions without good knowledge
13) the confusion of mind you dub honor
14) you were born to be betrayed
15) how long have I been walking down this road?
16) any man can be kind when he is comfortable
17) I've seen him cheat himself
18) these prizes are for living men
19) in desperation, anything becomes possible
20) I'd storm heaven for you, if I knew where it was
21) ignorance is not stupidity, but it might as well be
22) with the right to rule came the duty to protect
23) they will be vastly unlucky in their children
24) but he quit just an hour too soon

Date: 2010-09-21 10:28 pm (UTC)He prefers to wait in his cell, which has no windows, no beds and no lights, after he rubbed his neck raw from the collar trying to get out, broke his fingernails prying the light fixture from the ceiling. He prefers the dark.
When the orderlies throw him in from the latest treatment, he crawls to the corner where the monster lives. It turns at his presence, and holds out a claw to him. Guy crawls willingly to it, takes the claw in his hand.
When they come for him in the morning, he is hugging himself tightly, eyes glazed.

Date: 2010-10-10 12:26 am (UTC)Insano didn't look up; he was too close to finally finishing his latest upgrade to his robotic grabby things. Just a couple more hours...
"Doctor?"
Insano waved vaguely in her direction. "I'll be up in a minute."
"You said that two hours ago." Honestly, you could hear the pout from here.
"Away, vile temptress! How dare you stand in the way of SCIENCE!" He pondered exactly how best to improve the laser beams. Everything was better with lasers.
He distantly heard Nurse stomping up the stairs and slamming the door, but it didn't really register. Not when there was science to do.

Insano leant back in his chair and stretched. The robotic grabby things were fully upgraded, (and probably passed for WMDs in some states) now to go see what his Nurse had been after.
He went up the stairs out of the basement, and was about to head out the door when he spotted a skirt dropped on the floor.
Clearly this was his lucky day! He'd finally finished the upgrades and now his gorgeous sexy nurse was waiting for him! He found some stockings and her top next. This was a very good day.
His good mood faded however when he went into the living room and his Nurse was sat on the couch in jeans and his Mad Science Academy hoodie, watching the end credits to a movie with her chin on her knees. She didn't look up as he sat next to her.
"...What were you watching?"
She sighed. "Primer."
"I thought we were going to watch that together?"
"Well, you were busy." Oh, shit. He only had a small window before she stopped being sad and started being angry, and then he was screwed. And she was making that face. The sad one.
He jumped up from the couch. "Luckily, I have harnessed the powers of SCIENCE to create a time travel device far superior to any yet made! I shall use it to go back in time so we can watch Primer and I can still have upgraded my robotic grabby things!"
Once he was done with the maniacal laughter he looked over at her. She was still curled up, but there was a tiny smile on her face.
"Or, we could just restart the DVD." Once he'd settled back on the couch and started the DVD, Insano nudged her slightly, to see if he was still in the doghouse.
She nudged back before leaning up against him to watch the film, smiling.
